This is my first blog entry. After a long and arduous
period of adjustment to several personal issues I
have resumed writing. I have begun writing articles
for my Hubpages.com account as well as beginning my
outline for my new not to mention first nonfiction
book. I am of course promoting my current novel however
I can. Such is the fun of being a new author. I have
so much respect for musicians and actors starting
out their careers. There is so much groundwork and
unfortunately second guessing of your work. I just
have to remind myself that most science fiction authors
of the last century had to go through it.
I am going to be writing a series of short stories
to set in the literary universe of my book starting
this month. My next book is going to be my first philosophy
work. I am looking forward to getting my feet wet
in that particular intellectual field. My articles
on hubpages.com are going to be on a variety of topics
such as health, spirituality, religion, philosophy,
opinion pieces, movies, science and the like.
The thing I'm looking forward to the most is my cousin
Vanessa's upcoming wedding. It's hard to believe that
it was ten years ago that I first met her and now
she's getting married. It's also hard to believe that
airlines actually have the balls to charge us for
checking more than one piece of luggage. Oh the outrage!
For all of my future fans I plan to blog on a regular
basis. I am also hoping by the end of the month to
have my podcast up and running. I have a lot planned
for this year including beginning my next novel in
November. I hope that those of you who take an interest
in my writing enjoy what you read. Thank you.
